I was so happy to find The Colors of Chatham on Instagram a few years ago. It is a daily gift to get a glimpse of Chatham's beauty every single day on Barry's site. Barry has an eye for the unexpected, a unique perspective, and captures the very best of my favorite part of town! And, because he walks the town and the more far reaching areas of Chatham daily, Barry sees A LOT! His photographs capture the many facets of the character, charm, and wildlife of Chatham. They are simply stunning! My husband gave me a gift certificate for Christmas for one of Barry's photos and the hardest part was choosing just one! The Colors of Chatham is truly worth a stop, because when you visit Chatham, you'll want to take part of it home with you, and Barry's artistic photos are the perfect way to do just that.

The Colors of Chatham was started in 2015 literally by accident. Barry Desilets, an avid cyclist, crashed on Route 6A in Cotuit while on an 80 mile bike ride. As his bike, body, and ego were being repaired Barry began photographing Chatham. Wanting others to see his pictures he started posting on Instagram. His passionate followers convinced him to open a gallery so all visitors to Chatham, MA could see his work.
